This seminar, offered in Toronto during the Woodworking Machinery and Supply Expo show in October 2011, at the CAWP Open House, February 2012, and at the CKCA and BC LTBI annual conferences in March 2012, was designed to introduce simple, practical tactics for increasing the visibility of your business and driving new, targeted customer inquiries using low-cost web-based tools and applications. Iain Macdonald is Managing Director of the Centre for Advanced Wood Processing (CAWP), a training and business mentoring centre for Canada’s value-added wood products sector. Based in Vancouver, CAWP provides short courses, seminars, e-learning and training programs to manufacturers, and assists companies with product development, design, product testing, factory improvements, and other technical and business support activities. Iain holds a BA in marketing, an MSc in technology-supported training, and a Certificate in Internet Marketing, and has been involved in online marketing since 2003.
