Automated Finishing for Custom or Job Shop Applications

April 23, 2015

$150

This seminar is designed for small to medium sized manufacturers who are looking to increase the efficiency and profitability of their finishing department and the quality of their finished products.  Consumer demands have shifted the requirements on automated finishing equipment from mass production systems to more flexible systems designed for custom millwork and job shop applications.  In addition, regulators are insisting on finishing systems that have low environmental impacts.

Bob Kostelnik from Stiles Machinery, a highly experienced technical specialist on wood finishing equipment, will explain the necessary steps to achieving a superior quality finish and how to integrate automated finishing equipment into your process. He will also discuss the changes required to integrate UV and water-based coatings into your production process.  Dave Stewart from Innovative Manufacturing will discuss new coating technologies and their advantages/disadvantages.
