BC and will feature North American and international speakers presenting examples of innovative timber construction projects from around the world. A delegation of European timber industry professionals will attend the event, and there will be opportunities to network with the delegation during a pre-conference event earlier in the week.

Paolo Lavisci, Italy: The Italian Way for Timber Construction: Results and Perspectives
From recent experiences in construction and research, the presentation will outline how Italian designers, producers and builders are developing innovative applications for timber-based structures within a country that was previously resistant to this technology.
