Wood First Forum 2013

The Wood First Forum is organised by BC Wood Specialties Group and is a full-day event for architects, designers and building professionals focusing on trends and innovations in multi-family and non-residential wood construction. CAWP is proud to be a partner in this event, which draws around 100 industry professionals to Whistler each year immediately prior to the Global Buyers Mission. CAWP’s role in the event is to bring an overseas dimension to the seminar program by inviting wood building specialists from Europe and elsewhere to present their projects and expertise. This year we are pleased to bring Frank Miebach (Miebach Engineering Bureau, Germany, a leading designer of timber bridges), Mikko Summanen (K2S Architects, Finland), and Pierre Quenneville (structural engineer specialising in timber structures from University of Auckland, New Zealand).
